ART appreciation 2022-2023 Studies have shown that art education is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skills. Arts learning can offer students an outlet to process trauma, develop self-discipline and self-management, and interpersonal relationship skills. Finally, drawing, painting, and creating arts can be a relaxing, non-pressure activity that refreshes the mind and can yield positive benefits in social and emotional growth.
For us in Mr. Pham's 5th grade class, art time is fun time!
Art will also be incorporated into the curriculum throughout the year as students create posters, dioramas, origami, paper craft, website design and video creation to support their Reading, Math, Social Studies, and STEAM learning as well as seasonal and cultural celebrations. This will be a fun year!!! We love art!!! Art Gallery |
