FLEA MARKET #2
December 2, 2022 - Our class had a 2nd Flea Market this year in the classroom... and it was FANTASTIC! While they are allowed to bring little knickknacks and trinkets like toys, candies, or other goodies to sell in class, a lot of students chose instead to bring their own creations to the market. There were bookmarks, coloring, bracelets, drawings, key chains, and 3 raffle events!!! Such creative money making schemes! 😎
Each "Vendor" set up their own booth to display the goods (and "forced" tip jars!). Students used class money to buy the things they want. Bargaining ability is a must have, and math skills are practiced constantly in this class flea market.
Students learned how to use money wisely to buy and/or sell products and be successful.
We had a lot of fun! The final Flea Market will be in March.
