MARCH INTO WOMEN'S HISTORY

Every year, March is designated Women’s History Month by presidential proclamation. The month is set aside to honor women’s contributions in American history. The 2023 theme is "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories." This theme recognizes "women, past and present, who have been active in all forms of media and storytelling including print, radio, TV, stage, screen, blogs, podcasts, news, and social media."

MARCH: EFFORT

If you make an Effort to do something, you try very hard to do it again and again, and not giving up.
Effort means giving your best, asking for help, and participating in class.
Effort is to figure what you need to do, do it well, and be successful.
Positive attitude plus effort equals success. Tuberville

DID YOU KNOW? WATER CYCLE FACTS

Picture
The Sun’s heat causes glaciers and snow to melt into liquid water. This water goes into oceans, lakes and streams. Water from melting snow and ice also goes into the soil. There, it supplies water for plants and the groundwater that we drink. Snow falling on a glacier during winter months usually replaces any water that melts away in the summer. However, due to Earth’s overall warming, most glaciers today are losing more ice than they regain, causing them to shrink over time.
