April 15-19, 2019 - To understand the relation ship between planets in our solar system, 8 groups of students worked on an assignment to design and build solar system models. For one week, the students worked together and painted foam balls, attached strings and hooks to card boards with hot glue guns, and used other materials to portray as accurately as possible the colors and the order of the planets. At the end of the week, the solar system models were hung to the class ceiling and they all looked amazing! If you have a chance, please stop by our classroom and take a look.
